    Sep 10 Anderson H 7:00
    Sep 17 Highlands H 7:00
    Sep 24 Campbell County A 7:00
    Oct 1 Conner H 7:00
    Oct 8 Cooper A 7:00
    Oct 15 Simon Kenton A 7:00
    Oct 22 Ryle H 7:00

Thanks for posting. Maybe 4 wins. But you could be right at 3.

I'll say Boone is going to struggle with Cooper also. Last year, Cooper initially had the momentum but shot themselves in the foot when they were inside the five yard line. Another problem last year was Cooper's lack of ability to be able to throw the ball. I feel this year Cooper has a very good chance to be able to pass the ball a bit more with Morris at the helm. Well, assuming that he is named the starter during summer practices.

Cooper will still have a rough year, they will struggle with Boone, Thopson has alot of tradition and wont let his team lose to the Jags!

But im not sure about the top players? They have a few stand outs, but im not sure who all they lost and who all is coming back??????

I certainly do not want to hijack this thread since it is about Boone, but I am looking forward to the Cooper Boone game and hope it turns out to be a great one!

Boone plays real teams unlike Sk who plays absolutely no one. There is no way Boone will go 3 and 7. They will easlily beat Cooper,Conner,Campbell, and Dixie. Sk is way over rated and Boone will most likely beat them. And I will say Boone has a shot agaist either Scott County or Anderson. Ryle will be one of the best teams in the state of Kentucky and roll through the district. Highlands is good year in and year out so I don't see Boone beating them and Henry Clay seems to have a pretty good team this upcoming year.

Boone will be lucky to score a touchdown on SK. I think Boone might beat Conner and Dixie but thats it!

Not so sure they will beat any of those teams easily. Sounds like a bit of homerism if you ask me. I wouldn't call SK overrated either as they return a lot of players I believe. Even without Simpson they will still be a force in 6A. I can honestly seen Boone finishing right above Campbell in 6A this year.

I was told this morning from a friend of mine that has a son that plays for Highlands, that they saw Oppenheimer at the Kentucky football camp yesterday and was timed in the 40 yard dash in the 4.6's. Big strong back with speed. Boone may be a load to handle this year? I am deffinitly going to make it out to a couple Boone games this year. What grade is he in?

I know I went to a few Boone games last year and he carried the ball some, but no way he was 4.6 fast. Maybe 4.8-4.9 but not 4.6. He is a tough athlete though and from what I saw very hard to bring down. Best of luck to him!

What kind of size does Oppenheimer have, and what schools is he getting interest from?

For the comments about Oppenheimer's speed time. It is possible to increase your speed over time with the proper training. Unless you held the clock in your hand at the time he ran, you shouldn't deny the claim. Why can't you just say congrats and admit that it looks like the kid is improving on his speed to go with his power running style.

While it is possible to increase your speed over time, it seems highly unlikely that he could drop his forty time from the 4.8-4.9 range to a 4.5-4.6 range. College athletes go to these speed camps down in Florida to go from a 4.4 to a 4.3. It just seems highly unlikely though that Boone is doing something different that is dropping a forty time by 3-4 tenths of a second. As I said before, it will be exciting to watch him play this year and I wish him nothing but the best of luck!
