I wouldn't be so sure. I believe NCC had the clean-up duties at Holmes and since CovCath gave NCC anything they could salvage for free when CovCath did their re-modeling I don't think they would be worried about water/electric for 3 hours.

OK, I'm trying pretty hard to get the NCC faithful's "panties in a bunch" and you're making it a little difficult.

How's this. Maybe Bob's afraid that some kids from NCC will want their own home field especially with field turf on it. Since a lot of them are from Ft. Thomas anyway, maybe he's afraid they'll jump ship. CCH may be just far enough for him to not worry about it.

OK, all that for nothing. It's 7:00 at Holmes Friday night. Bummer, won't be able to make it.

I wonder which locker room he would use. There is no way he would be able to look around Highlands locker room and be able to dijest the tradition. That would be like Michigan using Notre Dame's locker room. We could clean out the storage shed where they keep the tackling dummies. I just don't think Uncle Bob would give Highlands the satisfaction of playing his home game at Highlands

Why not, it's in their backyard and any advantage from being the home team is lost by the .2 miles difference in the fields locations. Mud was a factor that helped NCC in the first one, with rain coming it would help again IMO.

I'm sure if CCH gives it for free that it will mean one less star player we offer an all-paid tuition to. We obviously cannot have that. Charge ol' Bob and the boys so we can continue to bring in the cream of the crop.

Exactly, CCH could have about half of a star athletes tuition paid for by just charging NCC for one game. That's almost douple dipping from the #2 private school in the area. You take one of the star athletes they covet and make them pay for him as well.

Now you're talking (although we ain't giving it up for $2200 if our goal is to cover half of a star-athletes scholly).

    The game:

On dry turf/field, big advantage to NC. While I like the grit of B-town's corners, they will struggle to stop the NC passing game. NC spreads the ball around so you need multiple talented defenders. I just don't see that (albeit only seeing Bellevue once).

I think Diehl has a big game.

Now thats a great field to play on right there. It makes since to get some use out of the field anyway. Great facility to play in growing up in the early 90's. I think NCC likes our field beacuse they had so many touchdowns on it through the years.

There it is kid I will be correct again!! Go Breds!!
You're like the guy in the FedEx commercial....You're always wrong...how are you always wrong?...let's review the facts....
    1. You thought Beechwood would beat Bellevue...if I remember correctly
    2. You thought NCC would win by 3 TD's in the first game and only a cheap TD by the JV would make it that close....it was 6-0 with a minute left.
    3. You thought Bellevue could not hang with NCC
    4. You said there would be 3 or 4 personal fouls late in the game...was there?
    5. You said Cov Cath would beat Highland...if I'm not mistaken
    6. AND you get fringe benefits, not FRENCH benefits.

    You're quite and expert.
