    Belfry isn't quiet as good this year as last, and they will be on the road, but I will still have to give this one to Belfry on a close game!

    I really can not wait until the game on Friday. It really will be a great contest between two amaizing teams. So far this season Russell has scored 518 points and given up 243. As for the Pirates they have scored 502 and given up only 191 points. Seems like a great game on paper, but the thing for us fans is that we get to watch it all unfold on the field in less than 4 days now. I wish everyone luck and I hope that we have a good, clean game and that both teams leave nothing out, leave it all on the field and when all is said and done the true winner will come forward ........

    Russell is a football town and so is Belfry but I'd have to give this to Belfry by at least 1 TD.

    Yes it was. And that was a result of some very costly turnovers that led to Belfry TDs and the one on the goal line that took one away from Russell. They were a big reason for the outcome of that game. That is not an excuse. Belfry played a mistake free ballgame and made Russell pay for their mistakes. That is what good teams do.
