Ashland's Quinton Baker de-commits from Marshall to attend WKU
A little over an hour ago Baker announced on Twitter that he'd be de-commtting from Marshall to attend Western Kentucky University. This is the second time he's de-committed from a school. Any thoughts?Advertisement

Kid has far WKY roots (Dad, Al grew up and played at Trigg County about a 90 minute drive from BG. Still has family there). I'm happy for him. This isn't a 4 year decision, but a 40 year decision as they say.
Never know what all goes into a decision.
It also makes me wonder if Doc Holliday isn't taking another job?

He'll probably sign with EKU on signing day

Would have liked to hear the whole story of the decommit from UK. Rumor was that he didn't want to compete for snaps. Makes sense that a coaching change could be the issue at Marshall. Then again, it's 20 minutes from Ashland.

Nobody should fault a kid for changing his mind, after all he is a kid. He wanted to go play with his buddy OBryan.
Still hope a bigger school can pick him up though!
