Ashland vs Rockcastle II

Page 3 of Tomcatsalute, I believe our rollouts are by design and not by pressure. How many times has Holbrook been sacked this year. NOT MANY!!! Considering how ... 78 comments | 3338 Views | Go to page 1 →

We lost several key players, one of which was Sam Hensley, now playing for Marshall University.

The Tomcats played Clay Co last week who went practically the entire game with a no huddle offense.

If Ashland comes to play like the last several weeks, I see Ashland winning by 10 points. Either way it will be a very hard fought game from both teams. I like Ashland because of the way they are playing right now. Holbrook is playing like............. well, like he has all season, great! The receivers and backs are playing well, too. But I think the difference in this team the last part of the season is the maturation of the lines, on offense and also on defense. The are not a running team, but when they need a couple of yards they have been able to get it. The defense has played superbly all year. Yes they gave up a lot of yards to Clay Co and others but when the other team got to the red zone the 'D' stepped it up and made some plays, like they have been all year. Like I said earlier , They 'bend but don't break'. I do beleive if this team keeps playing like it has the last few weeks along with a couple of breaks here and there then a Pizza party in December could be possible!!!!!

    Go Tomcats!!!!

The field is battle worn right now, but given the fact that there have been 50+ games played on it this year, the playing surface is really in remarkable shape. We finished up the field prep last night and the surface was dry and fast.

Thanks for the well wishes JC...we will do our very best to keep our district alive.

Rockcastle canít be taken for granted; they are a good football team. But, if the Tomcats stay focused and take care of business tonight; I predict a victory for Ashland.

OLD! Man, Kick, you sure know how to hit a man low. A better choice of words would be experienced or seasoned.

I'm just glad that Ashland is play a team that has fan's with computers. Those one sided debates are boring.

Speaking of grills, I'm looking forward to the tailgate tonight. It's gonna be a great night for a football game.

You should just leave now and go on over to the field. I'll be there if you will?

You had better go now if you want to be first. I saw someone placing their seats last Friday at 12:15. :creepy:
