This I would have to agree with...For example Ryle loses to Highlands and then procedes to beat them, season split...For SK if Fri does result in a split then they got the better end of the split
...Lets face it we are looking at two evenly matched teams, one in SK that I look too win this go round just like Ryle did too Highlands...SK knows the minor mistakes that cost them the first game and since game #1 between these teams meant nothing other than giving Ryle an easier road to round 3 I would be thrilled with a season split...

Has there been any updates to injury reports for either team? Both seem to have had injuries, but had back-ups who filled these spots easily.
How will special teams be a factor for both teams?

I dont think either team has any significant injuries and if they do they have learned how to win without those players already...As far as special teams SK beat HC with surperior special teams play and I believe this game will be decided by Special Teams play as well, field position, a field goal here and there and possible a recovered squib or onside kick will decide this game imo...Ryle and SK are pretty even in every area even special teams play, but at the high school level special teams play for each team varies from Fri to Fri each week...

Do you ever bring any facts to the table? I believe I have never been way out of line and I always bring facts to the table and relate my posts to the topic at hand...As far as I know the moderaters have no problem with my posts and I dont believe many posters have blocked me, but please if you dont like what I have to say block me...Agree to disagree, just flat out disagree with me, or block me please

I believe he has been hobbled a bit all year...But I believe last week he was rested for a possible go in this weeks huge game...Pinkelton is the other safety and has also been playing with injuries and some kind of protection sleeve of some sort on his bicept/shoulder....

I also agree wtih UK#1fan about how hard it is to beat a team two times in a row, same for the Rocks who beat X. That was a decent post by the guy.

Like the first two rounds, Ryle wins comfortably......
Hempel and Elliott with big nights and the DB for Ryle (#24 I believe) that had the three interceptions last week against Campbell gets two more this Friday night in Union.
Ryle - 38
Simon Kenton - 22
And that is with a late score by SK to make it remotely close.
24 - 6 at the half Raiders.

I believe in the first meeting Elliot was not 100% due to the hit he took the previous week. Seeing this kids desire to win, I'm betting for him to have a big statement game this Friday night, and the Raiders getting the victory on their home turf.

I've thought about this for a few days since my last post. I still do not see a significant advantage going to either team. I believe that the point margin at the final of this one is going to be very close, just like the last one. Which ever team is smartest with the ball and doesn't turn over will likely be the winner.

Agreed, 24 at the half may be a bit on the high side.
I just see how Ryle has been playing the last month (with everyone it seems at full strength or as close as you can be at this point in the season) and just don't see them being denied at this point.
Go Raiders!!!

We need to stick to the game and not each other. If anyone else wants to get personal in this thread we will suspend you.

I believe that this is going to be a game based off of a lot of defense and do not believe that it is going to be very high scoring.
