It is their helmet this year and the future. The midfield logo was switched to the same this year as well.

It’s a pretty big upgrade in uniform. They went from blah to a top 5 uniforms in the state IMO.

If Jacob Lacey is able to work that offensive line then it won’t be that simple.

Don't think any defensive lineman has worked the offensive line all year when CovCath has had all their starters available. Should be fun to watch tomorrow.

Absolutely. I hope it is anyways. I expect Cov Cath to win but I think it will be a really good game.

Some great quotes from South Warren coach Brandon Smith:

“Last year was a bit of shock and awe,” Spartans coach Brandon Smith said. “It was a buzzsaw and I don’t think we realized what we were walking in to. We obviously did once the game started. The second time is always easier playing anybody and I think now we understand what we’re walking in to. Even though it’s been a year, we still have a lot of the same kids and honestly they have a lot of the same kids, too.

“We’re a little more prepared. The mindset is there. They understand it’s not another game, it’s not another team. This is different, the level they’re going to have to play at.”

South Warren only gives up 37 rushing yards per game.

“We’re going to come in and play fast and hard like we always do and punch them in the mouth like we do every other team,” Lacey said. “They score a lot offensively. We have a great safety (Clayton Bush) lined up with Mayer and he’ll do just fine. We’ll just play hard.”

SW has had a chip on their shoulder for years. First for BG and now CCH. Colonels need to strap it on tight!

I am looking forward to a great game to finish off the 2018 Kentucky High School Football Season.

The poll is closed already so I can't vote.

    Give me the Colonels!
