      Default 5A #3 Warren Central / Barren County Predictions

      District opener for the Dragons and Trojans.

      The Dragons have won 10 straight against Barren County, scoring an average of 50.8 PPG in those games and winning by an average of 46.7 PPG. Central enters this game at 4-0 while the Trojans limp in at 1-3 having lost three straight since their season opener. On paper, this has all the makings of a blowout.

      Agreed. Warren Central has too many athletes for Barren to overcome. This one will be over before halftime.

      Dragon Fire I thought Dub C would have beaten Meade Co. worse than they did. I wasn't able to see the game. What were your thoughts? I thought they would have scored more than 21 points. Turnovers?

      I touched on it in the game thread about it, but I would say mostly it was wasted opportunities. They turned it over on downs deep in Meade territory twice, including once at the 5 yard line. Also turned over on a fumble and had their first INT of the year. Outside of Meade's first drive (which followed the INT that they returned into WC territory) until WC moved into more of a prevent at the end, the Dragon defense pretty well shut them down. Central outgained Meade 352-169 but just didn't punch it in enough. The offense needs to work on finishing.

      Ram...It is not at all possible for the Trojans to compete with Central this year. Monroe made them look very bad!!! Not saying that Monroe is great, just saying Central will destroy them at will!!!

      They won't! Centrals JV will put up at least 21 and the freshman will score also. Barren does not have anything this year!!!
