    I think this could get ugly. Last week in a scrimmage without McGinnes and Shriver Cov Cath rolled. They are back and Cov Cath has just too much. Hope it’s close but think it could be a running clock.

    Tough to say. Casey McGuiness didn't play against NewCath. They really didn't get to run that many plays due to great field position or quick strikes. What they did run was mostly passing and very vanilla. I don't know how anyone watches the scrimmage and feels like they've seen what CovCath truly has.

    Defensively, their biggest hole was filled by Mayer. He'll be a very capable replacement for Butler. The d-line is smallish weight wise, but extremely quick and looked to go about 8 deep. Again, don't know if that is going to be how they rotate in the regular season.

    I expect them to run a ton of screens, Give Casey a full meal, to protect the sophomore from making too many mistakes. They may look deep from time to time if Eddie see's were are loading the box, which we don't do much. Defensively they like to slant, Run Blitz outside Lb's and stuff your run game. Rushing yards are hard to come by. The last time we ran crazy was C. England's junior year and J. Chosolm's junior year. Both of their respective Senior years the team struggled to run against CCh's defense. Let's hope the "Junior Jinx" we have with them shows up tomorrow night.

    The Raiders are ready for the kill!

    For the 2018 Season.... An Ode to the Raiders...

    We are Raiders, lords of the sea-
    We sail our ships each week onto victory;
    We are ship’s company, together through thick and thin,
    Always focused on one objective: win, win, win;
    Our offense moves unopposed imposing its’ will,
    The defense stands like our cannons, ready for the kill;
    Unfurl the sails and make ready for war today,
    Surrender now because we’re ANCHORS AWEIGH!

    Go Raiders!!!!

    I hope it doesn't rain I would love to get a good crowd out there from both teams. That way it will be loud and exciting.

    The Colonel Athletic Network is supposed to be doing an internet broadcast. I'm assuming that won't be changed by the rain.
