    4A #4 Franklin-Simpson vs. 2A Monroe County

Franklin-Simpson was living right last week, jumping out to a quick lead on top five in 5A Greenwood, but after falling behind late, gained a victory via a miracle tip drill touchdown to win 24-20. The win moved Franklin to 4-0 for the first time in 20 years, and they'll be favored to move to 5-0 for the first time since that season. In their final tuneup before the pivotal game with South Warren, they'll host 2-2 Monroe County, coming off a 46-34 victory over Barren County. The Falcons have had an up and down year in their first year under Billy Joe Murphy, and this game should go to the Wildcats. What say you?

Saw Monroe against South Warren in the Rafferty's Bowl. They had a few good pass plays against them, but had a hard time rushing the ball. I think the same will hold true against FS. Don't see fatigue being a factor this week for FS against a 2A team. I'll guess FS 42-7.

    Luck and a miracle.

Wildcats put themselves in position for a lucky miracle by driving 59 yards after getting the ball at their own 20 with two minutes to go. The 21 yd TD pass was tipped by a GW defender then snatched from the air by Hunter Janes who seemingly came out of nowhere...he didn't give up on the play. A lucky miracle created by determination meeting oppurtunity.
