4A #10 Shelby County at 5A North Bullitt

The Rockets have turned back the clock a bit and leap into our top 10 this week, sitting right behind Collins, the team that set them back when the schools split. Their first ranked action will be a road trip to North Bullitt, a 3-0 team, like Shelby County. Who wins the battle of the unbeatens?

While Shelby has been on a roll North Bullitt will end all of that this week after beating a good Woodford team to start the season I think they may be too much for the rockets!

This is not the same North Bullitt team. They r deep in back field with lots of speed. This team shows heart and can move the ball all 4 Quarters. This going to be a game that will show which team is in better condition. Shelby County has a great QB that can make plays happen. SC (D) is tight in the secondary. For NB they r quick and can move the ball on the ground and with a great air assault. This going to a great game for both teams.
But I still have to go with NB. 28-14..

I think NB wins this as well but that was not a good woodford team they beat. This is the first test for North and I do believe they will pull it out in a close one.

If you believe in omens, the early season returns might favor Shelby County ....these two districts have met twice this year, and the 4A school has convincingly won both matchups (Spencer Co 55, Nelson Co 26 and Collins 55, Bullitt East 14).

4A North Oldham and 5A South Oldham - also representing the same districts as Shelby and NB - also meet Friday.

That is a great post Mike, I don't see things changing this week.
Woodford was not a great win. I don't think either team has been challenged and they both need this game to be tight for future games

Shelby in a close one. They seem pretty evenly matched to me.
