Everything points to a Beechwood Win. I would love for Newport to come out on fire and push the Tigers to their limits. However, seeing what Newport did against NCC and Lloyd. I say game is close until the fourth quarter and the Tigers win by at least 3 TD's.

Have to take the Tigers in this one. Records within the district to me, tell a lot, and Beechwood has handled business so far. I did say Beechwood/Lloyd would be close, but I’m going to say Tigers roll Friday! 42-14.

If last Friday night at Lloyd is a display of where this inexperienced Beechwood team has now grown to, Tigers will win by 3 TD's or more.

Beechwood rolls. Newport is not a very good offensive team against better teams.

Newport likes to out-athlete teams that aren’t very athletic. I watched them play Carroll County earlier in the year and Newport had superior athletes and it showed in the score. Problem with that is when you go against a team as athletic as you are it comes down to who better fundamentally. I will take Beechwood in that area all day.

Beechwood rolls and will then officially own this district. 3 opponents, 3 blowout wins. As I said in another thread a couple weeks ago, Beechwood owns this district despite the first year move to it. Level of preparation and coaching (gameplan) this week will make this a blowout in Ft Mitchell. IMO, Beechwood is prepping for a playoff run. the first 6 games of high level experience under their belt cannot be discounted, even though it brought them 4 losses.

Newport built a record on really weak opponents and now is realizing what they are which is not very good. I love Joe Wynn as a coach but they are not ready for Beechwood.

They were within a touchdown of both Newport Catholic and Lloyd after 3 quarters. They are a good team. The key is get the lead and make them play from behind.

Both teams have traded punts to start the game and Beechwood has it around the 50 yard line.

Touchdown Beechwood 4 yard run by Avery Courtney. XP is good 7-0 Tigers. Drive was all Cam Hergott and his legs had 3 nice runs on the drive and Courtney pays it off.

Newport punting with the ball spotted at their own 1 after a mishap on the kick off that stranded Newport at the 1. Mason Williams return it to Newport 14.
