NCC has 5 players, Enslen wr/db, Gray wr/db, Wieland center, Hoover tackle, Neff tackle. All of these players were starters in some capacity when they were soph's, mainstays since they were juniors and have played in 3 straight state championship games. Solid group.

Most high school football all star games take place after the school year. My home state plays their all star game even later in June. Playing one of these games after the season would put it almost during Christmas. Not good timing. It gets dark too early, and if you have any school cancellations due to weather, there's even more problems. Also, I think even less guys would opt to play because of winter sports (basketball and wrestling).

    Thanks in advance!

As was stated earlier, it's tough to have a game in December with all the holiday plus the weather. You also have Basketball and then baseball going on. June is perfect because it is before the kids head off to college and the other sports are over so the kids playing the other sports can participate in this game. IT is also a lot easier to get people to come out and kids to participate when the weather is in the 70's etc. rather than in the 20's.

I think its a great idea. The only downfall I ever see with it is that I know many kids who have already signed on to play at the next level usually either sit this one out or only step on for a series or so. Which I agree with, not worth risking the injury of a college career and financial aid for one last high school hoorah. But as many are saying its a great way for those who want to get on the field one last time with their buddies.

Not true. Miles Simpson, Jordan Hansel played most the game. They usually all play a bunch.

Thats not true at all. Many who play in college will play in this game if they are in town. They also play more than a series or two also. Last year for instance the coaches would rotate the players every series. They all played an equal amount.
