If Friday proves me to be a bagger of sand, I'll have @Ram buy you your choice of fine concessions at your next visit to Ram Stadium.

You won't hear the cannon fire once Friday night. I promise.

Cannon is gone, just fireworks now. The people in the area around the stadium complained about the noise from the cannon, but they seem to like the pretty fireworks hah.

Ashland is a hard team to beat at home which is why I went with them. I hope Raceland can hang with em and make it an exciting finish!!!!

Ashland always pays Raceland to come there. I think it also had to do with the amount of spectators that Raceland could seat and get in compared to at Ashland. I know Ashland is coming to Raceland soon not sure what season but @sidelinedoc would be able to give you a better answer.

Dollar bills. It benefits both teams to play at Putnam. As an Ashland fan I'm not opposed one bit to playing at Raceland, I feel like it would be a nice road game for is to have every other year. But like most things in life it all comes down to money. Both schools make more money from this game being at Ashland than rotating it year to year. For what it's worth, Raceland has really nice facilities, but they wouldn't be able to hold the crowd this game brings.

Unfortunately, yes, it does. I was recently told that Ashland spends $1800 and that's just in paint alone. Volunteers actually do the painting. I had no idea it cost that much money.

1800 a year that’s wild! I know when I was in high school football players and coach’s painted the field during advanced PE /weight lifting.

I meant $1800 per home game lol. They used 180 gallons of paint prior to the Harlan home opener.

Now that’s even wilder! But yet again they do paints all those squares all the way across in those end zones.

Starting in 2019, it is the traditional 2 year home/away contract. 2019 will be at Putnam and 2020 will be at Raceland. It will be week 6 instead of week 1.
