    Thanks for the heads up.

I checked the twitter page that you were referring to, and it does sound legitimate considering that they also mentioned that they snapped a 63 game losing streak, so what are the chances that he'd be talking about some other CCA?

    Pretty slim, right?

The puzzling thing is that on the official schedule it didn't have them scheduled for a game tonight, and there's no reference to a team named Agape, nor is there such a school within Kentucky. Perhaps Agape it an out-of-state team, and this particular game just somehow never made it to the official schedule.

Nevertheless...congratulations to the Community Christian Academy (Paducah) Warriors for your first win of the season, and for ending your 63 game losing streak.

As of 02/08/18 there only 3 winless teams in the state of Kentucky.

There's no doubt that it's the same. He writes for the Paducah Sun and it was probably some type of makeup game from earlier in the year that wasn't updated on the KHSAA site.

Agape Christian School is a school in southern Illinois so I'm going with this being legit.

Sounds logical, and considering, like you said, he writes for the Paducah Sun where CCA is from.

It looks like Agape Christian isn't a member school in the Illinois High School Association, but they are an approved school. I know the KHSAA requires games against member institutions but this would appear to work. I'm happy for the Community Christian kids no matter what!

I honestly can't see any of these teams winning another game this year. Best of luck next season to them.

You're probably right, but if Williamstown hasn't yet thrown in the towel on their season, their best shot at a win might be against Owen Co. this coming Tuesday night. In their first meeting back in December W-Town lost by 12, which is nowhere near the blowout that they've suffered multiple times this season. Good luck to them, and hopefully they can get themselves in the winning column.

Jenkins is in a similar situation with their forthcoming game with June Buchanan this Wednesday night, where in their first meeting of the season on Jan 15th, Jenkins lost by 10.

Lee Co. however would likely need help of miraculous proportions to get a "W" before season's end.

Good luck to all 3 of these teams.

Williamstown avenges an early season 26 point loss to Bracken Co getting their first win of the season.

Up next is Owen Co. and a chance to keep the winning momentum going.

Winning felt so good that Williamstown turned around and did it again the very next night over Owen Co. 56-55.

Jenkins really came to play tonight and gave June Buchanan all they wanted. Unfortunately it just wasn't enough, and in the end JB prevailed.
