Will Scott County run the table?

They have won every game by at least 16. The only game I see as even a remote possibility of a loss between now and tourney time is their January 5 matchup with Louisville Trinity. Does SC have it in the cards (pun intended) to finish the season unblemished? I donít see any way they lose prior to Rupp.

They will run into some competition at the Beach Ball Classic in South Carolina I’m sure.

I totally did not take into account the out of state tournament, but given their thrashing of Olive Branch (MS) I still think there is a chance.

Would be the first since Brewers in 1948. They are terrific but it's just so difficult. You have to be perfect every night. I'd guess not.

Right now it doesn't look like anyone can beat them, however teams get better throughout a season, and some plateau or even decline.
They are the best team in the state by a wide margin right now.

They may go undefeated in the state but those out of state tournament games may be a big hurdle.
Scott County has such a large student body to pull a team from, 2,600 students and half that number boys. Theyíre state contenders in most sports, not just basketball. But thatíll change next year when the countyís new high school takes half the enrollment.

Travel fatigue, injury, sickness, ice cold shooting are just a few of the reasons they don't run the table.

No, basketball is a too long of a season with too many back to back nights, etc. Eventually a hot shooting team and an off night catch up with the best teams.

In state YES. The only tough games is against Trinity and maybe Fern Creek. The only time I see them losing is in Myrtle Beach, but would not be shocked if they go down and win the whole thing. They are that good.
