    I know a little bit about everyone except for Meade County and Collins. I don't know much about them.

    I'm going for an extended stay in Lexington next week. Some players I'm looking forward to seeing are;
    Michael Moreno- Scott Co.
    Zion Harmon- Bowling Green
    Jake Ohmer- Scott
    Korbin Spencer- Elliott Co.
    Steven Fitzgerald- Pulaski
    J. Wilson and C. Patterson- Ballard

    The two teams I'm most looking forward to seeing are Cooper, who I haven't seen yet this yr but I've seen Cov Cath and any team that could beat them the way they did I am very impressed and have to check out. And also Fern Creek because I've only seen them once vs Doss in early December.

    The games I'm most looking forward to are Fern Creek vs Hopkinsville in that 1st round. I believe it's a rematch of a game that Hopkinsville won convincingly. And Collins vs Elliott. I've seen alot of the 8th region this past week and Elliott is a small school with a really good soph.

    Definitely. If anyone loves to see players work on the defensive end of the floor these two absolutely get after it. Hendrix will guard every team's best player 6'7" and below. And don't be fooled by Perrin's size of 5'8" because he is an absolute bulldog guarding people.

    I would say Meade County is a bit of a surprise for most fans outside of the 3rd region. The reason their record is the worst in Sweet 16 history (I believe) is due to the injury of their star, James Baker. He is not a world beater but he is 6-7, athletic, and can be a streaky shooter. So as far as who to watch for Meade County it's James Baker. Its no doubt that the rest of the team had to help him win region but I can assure you it's all about Baker, perhaps best understood by the fact that he didn't even attend Meade County Schools until he started high school and the student section and fan base now refer to Meade County High School as "James Baker High School."

    I am a guard guy and love to see the kids that control the game and the team, I think that we have 4 in the tournament that do it very well. They may not light up the scoreboard, but I guarantee, how these guys play will have a lot to do with how far the teams go.

    Anthony Wales - Fern Creek (love this kid)
    Bryce Long - Scott Co
    Shorty Cager - Hoptown
    Colton Fraley - Pulaski Co.

    Of course agree about Zion, he will probably be the talk of the tournament, my suggestion, if you want to see him play in person, you better get to Rupp this year. I don't think he stays in KY past next year if he makes it that far.

    Wales has been a verbal commit to Samford since last summer. The matchup in round 1 with him and Shorty Cager will be a good one. Cager won round 1 in the New Year's Bash at Muhlenberg County with an unbelievable performance. He was on fire and Wales although solid was outplayed that day. It will be a key factor in the outcome of that tough game for both teams.
