NCC has also had a lot of very good coaches over the years, but I would think Jim Connor would have to be their best ever.

We absolutely do not recruit in Scott County, but we don't put fences up around the county line either.

I would have to go with Billy Hicks at Corbin. Granted, I've only seen him, Coach Deaton, and Tony Pietrowski and know we have had some great ones over the years but Billy gets my vote. He's arguably one of the top 5-10 this state has ever produced so that's my reasoning.

Coach Hicks is a great coach who gives 100% to his kids every day. His kids understand the fundamentals and know how to play HARD - at both Corbin and Scott Co. he's been very successful.

Without a doubt - Willie Schlarman

Tom Creamer I'm sure would be a distant second for Brossart.

Rowan County - it would be hard to pick someone over legendary coach, Warren Cooper, however, Tim Moore won three regional championships in just three years of coaching. I'd go with Tim Moore - it would've been great to see all he could have accomplished had he not left to take the Supe job at Mason County.

None. They lost the championship game to Simon Kenton in 1981. Mason County didn't win their first state title until 2003, when they were coached by Kelly Wells. Maysville High School, however (not coached by Feldhaus), did win a state championship in 1947 and was runner up in 1938 and 1948.
