He still owns several records there. He also has several records in the All A Classic state tournament. One is the 115 points he scored in 4 games in the 1990 tournament, the year that Owsley County lost to University Heights in the championship game. Moose was MVP of the tournament that year even though the Owls didn't win the final game.
Moose is now an airline pilot for United Airlines.

Robbie Padgett from St. Henry also had great success at Embry Riddle. I believe he's the all-time leading scorer there...or at least was.

OK, for Walton I'll throw out John (Frenchy) DeMoisey.
Adolph Rupps 1st recruit(i think), All American, and 1 of 36 (i think) players who have their jersey retired at UK.(played in the 1930's)
With in the last 25 years at Walton, I'd say Johnny Anderson or Scott Benton.

Then, of course, you can challenge the Klingons for interstellar domination.

From Walton-Verona, John "Frenchy" Demoisey. He was Adolf Rupp's first recruit at UK, captain of the '34 cats, and also an All-American in '34. Of course, I was not around to see him play, but, from some of the stories from the old-timers around Walton, it was amazing was he brought to the game in his time.

East Carter would probably have to be Jackson Julson and Brandon Baker. Julson went to Cincy and then Georgetown, Baker to EKU.

Ross Neltner from the Highlands Bluebirds had a good high school career, and then I think he went to LSU?

Doug Schlomer from Holmes was a great all-around player, the Bulldogs lost in the "Sweet Sixteen Championship" to Shelby County which stared UK standout Charles Hurrt. Then Schlomer went on and played for the UC Bearcats.

While I did not attend this high school, and his name I might had missed in this thread, how about King Kelly Coleman from Wayland. Many have called him perhaps the greatest player ever in the Bluegrass.

From St. Henry I would throw in some of the seniors from the 2003 team. Fabiani, Schmidt, Vieth, Szcarnick (sp), Otte and some others. Good players, good team.
