That makes it a streak for WV. Beating Gallatin isn't an easy task.

Really didn’t expect this at all.

Back and forth game. GC got up early, WV charged back to take a 2 point lead at the end of 1. GC had a two point lead at half. WV had two starters go to the bench in the third in foul trouble and GC didn’t take advantage. McAllister was the spark in the first half but nobody else really outside of he and Rassmann did much scoring. Brandt Smithers was a scoring machine for WV. Everytime GC would take the lead Smithers would counter with a 3. Couple of costly TO’s for GC with the game at 6 points. Tough game.

Both teams were hitting from beyond the arc. WV hit 13 and GC connected on 10.

Another tough game for the Wildcats. They struggle to guard in full court and half court. They will be fine, but this team will take a little more time to groom. Congrats to the Bearcats, they deserved the win.

If I'm a Gallatin County fan, it's far to early to start getting overly concerned. Jon Jones has to integrate some newcomers into his scheme and that doesn't happen overnight. And history tells us that Jones will have his team prepared come tournament time.. Gallatin remains the favorite in the 31st, although it may not be all roses in December for the Cats as they work to jell as a unit.

While I agree GC will bounce back let’s give some Credit to the Bearcats. Picked 15th out of 16th and they have two good wins. Coach Hester has things moving in a positive direction.

Totally agree with your thoughts. Where were Coach Hester's previous stops?

Not that this team will win 27 or get on the historic run like the end of last season, but last year’s squad was one point from 0-3.

I believe Coach Hester was an assistant at Simon Kenton.

Not true. Gallatin did win its first game last year by just won point but the 2nd game they won by I believe over 50. Then lost to collins by 2 points in a game most of us said they gave away at the end. So they were 2 points away from being 3-0. Completely agree that this Gallatin team is going to be fine.

I stand corrected. Forgot about the Big Trains (my favorite nickname ever) coming to Warsaw.
