    Walton-Verona 72 North Daviess (IN) 42

Less than 24 hours after a tough district match up, Walton-Verona traveled to New Castle Indiana for the KY-IN cup and destroys a 10-1 #6 team in their class North Daviess team. Complete turnaround from the night before, starters shot 7-15 from 3 and played throttling defense and ND's stud guard. Definetely a good way to get the bad taste out of their mouth from the night before and get ready for the upcoming all A tournament this week. Grubbs led the way with 14 followed by Pardee with 12. The starters came out early in the 4th with a 40+ point lead.

Yes. They are in 1A which is the smallest enrollment class. They come from a small community with a heavy amish population in the southwest part of Indiana.
The other teams from Indiana that played yesterday were good 3A schools that play tough competition and have some good talent. Both Heritage Hills and Silver Creek are state title contenders this year in the 2nd largest class in Indiana.

North Daviess is a 2A team in Indiana which was 10-1. No idea how good they our but they moved up from Class A to 2A this year. Looks like a smaller 2A school (out of 4 classes).

KY does not have classes for basketball but I believe their football team is 2A. These teams had equivalent size schools which is why they were matched up.

Yes, you are right. They are 2A, somehow
