Sounded like Kentucky high school basketball at its best.

It was a great play called by Grant Brannen to win it for Walton-Verona. Brennan Stanley attacked the basket off a high screen from the left wing and hit the game-winning lay-up with about 2.5 seconds to go.

Was this for the GCL Championship? 78 total points? Wow.

Great defensive game by both teams. Clinkenbeard did a great job on Kelch in the post.

It was a defensive game, the refs let them play and neither team backed down. Hard fought game by both sides. Good luck to both in regionals.

It just looked to like neither team could throw it in the ocean.

Neither team could throw it in the ocean because both teams defense was excellent. I could count on one hand the total of open shots both teams got. Great atmosphere! Great game.

Yeah, I guess the defense accounts for the poor free throw shooting also. LOL

SK was 1-8 shooting 3 pointers and 16/43 field goals.
    Walton was 4-9 and 16/36.

It was difficult for either team to settle into a rhythm. Great back and forth game. Should be a great regional tournament from top to bottom.

Losing Robinson is going to hurt SK.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they both meet in regional finals!
