I have never had the privlidge to see them on their home court...only at the State Tourney....I would watch them more than I did the game...

I agree. Girls just want the guys to talk to them and not cheer. It made my mad when I was in high school and the girls didnt cheer.:mad:

Last year at the russell vs. ashland game was a great display of student section talent for both sides.

After watching the CCH-Mason County game last night, I have to say that I enjoyed the CCH cheering section a lot. Probably the most impressive thing about them is that they kept going at the same level all game long; even when their team was getting hammered.

Elliott County has the best fans by far, no matter where they play their side of the gym is always full. Just like basketball at UK it's not a game, it's a religion and they have church every time the lions take the floor

West Jessamine is nuts when it comes to cheering! they paint up every game, have a theme for every home game, and cheer no matter what the situation. they r always loud and crazy. but definetley not up to covcath staus yet, ha

Cov Cath is by far the best. There is a reason that USA Today ranked them in the top ten places to watch a high school basketball game.

In my many years of taking in a great many games across this state of ours and also attending the state tourney and Class A tourney for more years then I can even remember I feel quite comfortable and confident that the CCH Student Section is 2nd to none.

If I had a vote, I would probably say that the best student sections in the state are the same ones that the other 500 threads on this topic have concluded over the last couple of years.

In the 16th Regional it is Ashland's Student section...hands down the best kids in the area to cheer and support their teams.

Have to say Covcath fans are the best........I have to say Campbell County is the worse.....can't they come up with something more original than "so and so" Sucks........NOT WHAT I WANT TO HEAR AT A HIGH SCHOOL GAME!!!!!!!

St. X cincinnati by far, i know they arent in KY but they are much better than Cov Cath. Cov Cath has stolen a few cheers from them, like the roller coaster.

I enjoyed their chant last year when Brossart beat them in the crosstown. The whole side erupted and said "LETS PLAY FOOTBALL!!!!"
