    Thomas Nelson 54 Bethlehem 53

Tight one in the 19th District.

The Eagles were able to dictate tempo and do a good job of keeping the taller Generals off the glass, especially the offensive glass.

But Thomas Nelson was able to overcome a cold shooting night, getting a bank three from Cameron Morgeson to go ahead 53-52 with a little less than three minutes to play. After Bethlehem tied it up with a Shane Beisler FT with 1:34 left, the Generals took the air out of the ball and held for a final shot. Morgeson hit one of two FTs with 4.3 left to win it.

Morgeson's 15 led TNHS, while Kevin Ndahiro added 13 before fouling out.

Connor Ballard scored 16 to lead Bethlehem, with 14 in the second half. Beisler had 13.

    D. Dixson had seven at halftime, but I don't recall him scoring again.

TNHS will be fine. They've just got to develop some chemistry on offense and defense.
