The Cru is happy to have soccer all state honorable mention winner Alex Green return to the hardwood after a nice soccer season.

Best of luck today to Jake Plummer at the state cross country meet.

Then hurry up, Jake, and get back to the hardwood!

If I'm not mistaken, Jake is an IHM kid; I was at his stomping grounds this morning. Have heard great things about that young man.

Jake Plummer is one of the most likable kids you will ever meet.

I'd expect St.Henry to have a solid/competitive year. They should make the regional tournament and play a nice schedule. They return Jordan Noble who was honorable mention all region. It will be key for him and Connor Kunstek to stay on the floor and not get in foul trouble. The point spot should be in good order with Plummer and Goetz. Rechtin seemed more comfortable at the 2 spot than running the point last year and he is at his best attacking the rim. I'd think Wallenhorst and Green both have chances to play a lot of minutes in backup roles. Good Luck Crusaders. Scrimmages: 11-22-13 vs. Owen Co. @Simon Kenton 9am 11-29-13 vs. Scott

That one really hurts the schedule and I'm sure is scheduled for Silver Grove's coach who is a St.Henry Grad. It is not a required game. That and the Walton game are the only 2 that are iffy. Imagine the Walton game is an NCC thing.
McNick,Tates Creek,Lex.Cath and Harrison co. are all games that are not required. Wish they would play in a "Holiday" tourney.

I like the schedule . Just curious. Makes sense now with the Cru connection.

Good work, JustJim. Looking forward to your Crusader Commentary throughout the season.

Now if we could get everyone healthy and on the floor to score, the Cru will be in business and ready to roll!
