I think there's some over-reaction on this one. Montgomery County was without Jerryd Jones. That's 15 points and 8 rebounds a game missing.

Still a good win by Scott, but no Jones does make a huge difference.

Montgomery was without leading scorer and rebounder Jerryd Jones. Let's keep this realistic not a good win when the top player was not playing. I heard tonight at the GRC that he had been hospitalized last week and just got released yesterday. A win is a win, but if Jones played in pretty sure the outcome would have been in Montgomery County's favor......

Jones didn't play due to illness. The 10th isn't wideopen. you play without Anderson, Cornelious or Menchen for GRC and Scott would best use.

Jones didn't play....you think they would have won if he did? Leading scorer and rebounder for the team. Rethink your quote MCPAPA

We get your point - you said it three times: He didn't play! But guess what, you go to war with the team you have, not the team you should have or might have. More than likely, just about every team at some point in the season is going to play a game without one of their best players. Any team could point to a game they lost and say this player or this player didn't play. It's part of the game and life. Move on. NICE WIN FOR SCOTT!

Agree what your saying...and your tone makes me believe you really know what I'm saying. Jones on board they lose by 20

So because a player averages 18 points and 12 rebounds, the team that won this game would lose by 20 if Jones would have played? What makes you think he wouldn't of had an off night? Yeah he may have made a difference but it seems as there are some sour grapes coming from the 40th with Scott beating the two best teams in that district. Give credit where credit is due. Any win in the "dog days of January" is a good win, especially against a top tier 10th region team. Good win for the Eagles!!

Perhaps the most important aspect of this game for Scott was three guys scoring over 15 points. Maybe even more important than the win.

Agree...Just because a player is out for a team that lost doesn't mean it's not a good win for the team that won. Someone did play in place of the kid that was out. So whose to say if he had played that he wouldn't have gotten in foul trouble or had a really bad night?

    Good win for Scott.

Montgomery County played without a player. It's not like you just add his average to the final score & that would have been the outcome.

Someone filled in & scored points missing player would have. Add in missing player & points are deducted from someone else.

Not saying it would or wouldn't have made a difference, haven't seen the missing player play.

40391...Not sure why this is such a hot button for you. As you said...in the big scheme of things it doesn't matter. Teams will decide it come district and regional time. What happens if your player isn't at 100% by then? You play with who you have. It shouldn't take away from what the winning team accomplished during that one game.
