Both teams shot the ball really well tonight, but Russell came out blazing from the opening tip. The Red Devils were lights out on the offensive end, despite Bobby Hale having an uncharacteristically quiet night. Russell connected on fifteen 3's for the game. Sophomore Tristan Miller had a breakout game with 23 points, including seven 3's. Austin Clark also reached the 20 point mark, while Chazz Whitt, Brandon Rose, and Charlie Jachimczuk joined them in double figures.
Tyler Brown had a game high 27 for Bath County. Chandler Otis had 18, and Bryce Williams netted 15. Bath County drained eleven 3's of their own. It felt like neither team could miss from long range tonight. Russell led by as many as 21 on a few occasions, but the Wildcats battled back in the 4th quarter to whittle their deficit down to ten. Overall, this was a very entertaining matchup.
