One hell of a game tonight up on the "hill", but the visiting Spartans from Roger Bacon come away with the victory. 4 players from each team go for double figures.

Bacon started on fire as they race out to a 16-6 lead with just under 4 minutes in the 1st quarter, but the Breds respond to go on a 33-13 run to close out the half. NewCath did a great job handling the pressure defense and quickness of Roger Bacon.

However, the 3rd quarter saw the Spartans speed and pressure force the Breds into costly turnovers and a 10 point lead evaporated to a tie ballgame entering the final stanza. In the 4th the Breds had a few more costly turnovers that eventually were enough to spell doom, but credit the Spartans and their team speed for creating the turnovers. They also did a great job defending the outside shots.

Both teams shot well from the field and the line tonight, and both were fling up and down the floor as the pace of the game for most of the night was very quick.

    Overall a VERY entertaining game.

Reading LBs play by play he mentions turnovers. Seems like they have plagued them in this game and the Holmes game.

I'm thinking they can button them up prior to districts.
