Perry County Central 84 Hazard 78 (OT)Final per the scoreboard.Advertisement
Feb 6, 16, 12:04 AM #2I went to this game. Very exciting from start to finish. Hazard actually controlled most of the game and had the lead until Perry caught them late in the 4th quarter. The new kid for Hazard, Frazier, transfer from OBI is a great addition to their team. He had 18 tonight coming off the bench and scored off some amazing athletic moves. The Blair kid for Perry Central played great, too. Perry made the difference with some torrid 3 point shooting---13 for 25 from behind the arc.
These two teams go at it again in two weeks when they will meet at Leslie County for the first round of the 54th district. It's really a shame that one of these teams won't be making it to regional play, but such is the case in districts that don't seed.
