Augusta led 30-28 halfway through the 3rd, but Pendleton County outscored the hosts 34-9 the rest of the way.

Dontaie Allen led all scorers with 29 points.

Sam Appleman paced the Panthers with 11.

Augusta's last lead was 32-31 and then Allen tookover the game. Limited by fouls, he only had 3 pts in the first half. Impressive trapping D generated numerous turnovers and the final margin. Have seen Allen multiple times so I know he can shoot. Tonight his 29 all came on layups and FTs. To describe his game as smooth would be an understatement.

Looks like another slow start for PC. I wonder the reason behind the slow starts? Playing that style of basketball may not work if they play a top team in the 10th.
Outside of Allen both teams look about evenly matched.

Allen needs to be able to play 32 min a game. Foul trouble can't factor in every game he suits up. Needs to learn that he is more valuable on the court, then sitting with Mr. Monroe. Last 2 games early fouls have hurt them.

Get your facts straight before you start making false accusations. PC led 19-7 after the first quarter without Allen (foul trouble). It would have been 19-4 if Appleman didn't bank in a 3 at the buzzer. Pendleton came out hot and it was the opposite of a "slow start".

Get on board with this team or please quit bashing them and the staff. For a guy that's an alumni and former player (2000 grad) you sure are negative about the program. "Wildcatpride" seems to have no wildcat pride.

Not bashing anyone just voicing my opinion and this team will be fine. Low scoring 1st half is a slow start.

4&1 is a great start and the wildcats are looking good.
