They attempted 22 three-pointers last night, hitting just 4. The 22 attempts were 3 below their season average of 25 per game. Meanwhile, Paris was 6-12 from 3 for the game and shot 44% overall from the floor.

Dontaie Allen added 13 rebounds to his 43 points. He eclipsed 1,000 rebounds for his career in doing so.

Eric Johnson added 9 rebounds to his 19 points.

Disappointing loss by PC but not devastating. Paris played an excellent game especially on defense; PC did not . Turnovers were huge. Paris had only six while PC had 18 resulting in 12 more field goal attempts for Paris. Paris did an excellent job of contesting the threes. PC actually shot a better percentage(45% to41%) but again the turnovers created by the quickness of the Greyhound defenders was the difference. Eric Johnson was a pleasure to watch. Good luck to both teams in the postseason.

For the PC fans. Are they better when Allen scores 30 plus? Can they win without him scoring in bunches. I've seen a couple of varying opinions on his shot attempts and scoring.

"Paris officially the hottest team in the region entering tournament play."

That could of been said the past two years, except GRC is everyone's target this year, may help Paris.

Having one player, no matter who it is, scoring over 80% of his teams points is not going to lead to successful outcomes.

Allen averages 31 + of the teams normal 70+ points.

Walsh, Yelton, Sullivan, and Antrobus (when back) need to score the ball and keep the scoring ratio more distributed.

Paris has shown to play all of the 10th region contenders on their schedule very tough. Not surprised by the outcome.

    Exactly right.

Allen scored 43 points for a team that tallied 52 points last night, but for the season they average 76. He was 14-23 from the floor, while the rest of the team was 4-17.
