This is just pure speculation, but Josh Cook from GRC would seem to fit this job's DNA.

IMO...IF Hicks doesn't change his mind, I think a current or former Scott Co. assistant will get the job. I don't know who that might be, but I just think they will want someone who has experience in the school system and with the administration.

If Coach Hicks doesn't change his mind & is truly done, I could see Scott County turning it over to Tim Glenn. Polar opposite in many ways of Hicks, but I could see it working.

Ryan Wilson, formerly of Woodford County I believe, would get a good look I imagine. I believe he graduated from Scott County and has done a good job at Woodford.

I heard today the girls head coach Steve Helton night very well move to vet from the girls. He is well liked by the administration.

0% chance that Jim gets the job.

I assume you are referring to Jim Hicks, I'm certainly not a fan of his, but why would there be 0% chance he gets the job?

I could be real fuzzy on this, but wasn't there a player at S.C. name A. W. Hamilton (or thereabouts) who now coaches a traveling high school team? Would he be interested?

Considering that he’s the current head coach at EKU, he probably wouldn’t want to take the pay cut...

I agree. Obviously I have not kept up with him or EKU that closely.

Controversy has followed him throughout his career and SC doesn’t need that or him.
