Page 3 of Will it be Brad Carr? What about John Wimzie? Can anyone rebuild the Bulldogs program, or is this a job most coaches will stay away from? Advertisement... 152 comments | 24810 Views | Go to page 1 →

His last 3 years they were 9 - 20, 18 - 14 and 13 - 17 not very stellar record but at least he built the toughness in the program.

So you have no proof, just rumors. If they did not release it, how do you know what's on it? Rumors.

So if Scott doesn't get to the state tournament this year then it falls on Fromeyer in your eyes?

But he doesn't get the credit for last year's team?

You can't have both ways. If he takes the fall if they don't make this year then he definitely gets the credit for last year's team. Period!!

He can't help the talent level at Scott HS! The year they won 13 they should have won 5-6 games. That's a heck of a coaching job with mostly no Seniors!

You obvious are a Carr-basher, so it's useless to discuss it with you.

He had the exact same players from last year's team the year before and they went nowhere. Seems pretty simple to me.

You said he built last year's team and all I referred to is that if you want Fromeyer to take the fall if Scott doesn't get to the state tournament this year then he gets the credit for last year.

Yeah and that kids dad says things worse than anything Brad said. If what Brad said was so bad why did the kid wait til the end of the year to show it? Why did the kid play in the program for 4 years. Scot high school principal wanted rid of Brad and as soon as the new athletic director came in it was the perfect timing. Scot high school and the students lost in the firing of Brad. You obviously do not know Brad he has his short comings that he will admit. Brad makes everyone a better person that he is around.

Coach Fro is not on trial here.
He is doing a masterful job with his players, and yes, if they are good enough there is no reason that they couldn't repeat.

I would think that Brad Carr would have learned from his past (assumed) indiscretions and has mellowed into the guy who would be the perfect fit for the Holmes job.

Agree that Sam Elsbernd would be on the first bus to Covington IF they have a teaching job available for him.

Does the t-shirt from the 1980' s mean he can't coach at a school like Holmes. I find that hard to believe. Didn't Fredrick play high school ball at Green Hills.

And why? Principals are not in the habit of getting rid of good teachers and coaches.

He did build the program. Just like Tubby inherited Pitinos program. Fro has done a good job with varsity program. Time will tell if he can maintain it with building the youth program. Brad was involved deeply with the lil Eagles and Woodlands programs. Brad knew every kid even if they wasn’t basketball players That’s where I think Fro will come up short. Time will tell
