So he teaches discipline, hard work and teammates-first, but parents rule the roost at Scott HS and say you're too tough on our kids? Carr is perfect for Holmes, they need the tough love that the people at Scott can't handle. And those previous assistants must not be loyal if that's their stance.

Not sure what tough love entails but if the Scott team I watched play last year were anything they were a tough group of kids. Carr might be the right choice for Holmes but no need to act like the Scott people can't handle "tough love".

Carr was the one that molded that group. The current coach inherited what Carr built. See if they get back to state this year! I think not!

So you want him to get the credit for last years run to the state semi-finals? Even though he had that same group for two years and couldn't get them to the state tournament? That is just so

Carr was the one who built the toughness into that program. Period.

I don’t mind tough love. You can be a “tough love” coach and be truthful and demanding of your players. What Carr did was Verbal Abuse. Plain and simple. He is in the same boat as Mike Rice from Rutgers.

We can disagree then. Let's see how far Scott gets this year.

You have any proof? Or just second hand rumors? Back it up or don't put it out there!

We all know from the 30 for 30 Catholics v Convicts how Fredericks feels about the type of kids that play at Holmes.

You must be new. There is a recording. Unfortunately the school didn’t release it. But ask anyone associated with Scott during that last season. They’ll tell you.

Wow! That's a little harsh! These are high schools kids you are talking about! Wow!
