No sure of what point you are getting at or what Coach Ruthsatz has to do with the original post. Coach R has done a great job and is to be commended but your comment has nothing to do with this thread.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sullivan took the Holmes job.

Again, won’t happen but I know HHS will find an excellent coach. He may be in their building already.

Perkins would be an interesting choice. He was on the staff when the Boys team at Holmes made it to stated with Beetle. He might be a good choice if he wants to get back into it as he took this year off from coaching the girls team.

At some stage it becomes very hard for a career educator and coach to stay in the NKy private school environment. Current and future financial considerations are vastly different. Need family wealth, or a spouse with a great job to stay with the privates over the long haul. At least this is what my friends in the profession tell me.

    Interpretation - CovCath is rolling.
Ruthsatz has things really going well in Park Hills.
Holmes is a member of CovCath's district.

I would venture to say that Ruthsatz next stop is in the college ranks, if he ever decides to leave.

Can we get back on topic about candidates for the Holmes job. I think this is a great opportunity for a coach to bring Cov Holmes back to an elite program in NKY.

I would love the opportunity to coach Holmes. My wife might tell me otherwise though. 2 children in college and a 3rd on her way in 2 years. Not sure I can afford a pay cut. I think it is a great job though! I think it is one of the top jobs in NKY if handled correctly.

I talked to Coach Chevalier and he said quote:

"I haven't applied for the Holmes varsity job nor will I ever!"
