    I agree with you. Several Ashland fans have said earlier in this thread that Strader would get it. I think if they wanted to give it to him it would have already been done. I think they are seeing who out there they might be able to land and if not then go the local or assistant route. jmo

    No he’s not, he’s going to focus on being a father and husband now. He’s officially retired after 30 years.

    I would think this coming week we will hear something about potential candidates. I’m sure there are many outstanding coaches interested in this position but I believe Ashland will go with a veteran coach. I just think they will want to know what they are getting before they get it.
