I think foul trouble is going to most certainly happen when these two teams meet. Both do a lot of grabbing, bumping, and holding on the defensive end.

How much does the apparent departure of Hawley hinder Collins chances, in regards to depth.

Not that it is a bad thing, I love physical play but whistles do happen from time to time.

With so few games left in the season, why quit now? I don’t know this kid, or what his potential might be. But for a college coach, that’s a massive red flag.

Hawley - the son of former University of Louisville player Craig Hawley - isn't one of the Titans' big scorers - easy to be overshadowed in that regard, on the same team as Dayvion McKnight and Marcellus Vail, and also Tyson Turner - but he is a solid, strong, aggressive player who's always around the ball. Hawley is good for 6-10 points a game, some key rebounds, and plays defense about as well as anybody on the Collins team.

Perhaps more importantly, he gives them an extra body and five more fouls. Collins wasn't a super deep team to begin with. Depth seemed to be a factor against Oldham. The Colonels certainly used their depth to their advantage, pushing the tempo to a pace they wanted.

I was wondering if he was Craig Hawley's son. Thanks for the info.

I don't know the kid, but I sure know that he was "Mr. Hustle" in every game I saw him play. Whatever the reason, it's too bad he's not on the floor. He wasn't scoring 20 points a game or grabbing 20 rebounds, but I don't think he got enough credit.

What makes it “truth”? The fact that you said it? Im gonna hesitate to believe that.

Have you gotten both sides of the story? Do you have any idea what Collins coaching staff has to say about the situation?

Just wait about 10 days and you’ll have plenty of time on your hands to investigate BOTH SIDES of the story.
