Nice win for the Breds in Park Hills. I would love to hear some details on the game.

NCC was simply the better team. They played much better offensively than they did against Boone this week.
Beuter was the best player on the floor tonight.
CCH continues to struggle getting shots knocked down from the outside.

Good win for the Breds...as stated many times, anyone in the top 6 can be beaten on any given night.
Back to back losses for the Colonels...wonder if TOG still thinks CCH is deserving of the #3 ranking in the 9th region poll?

Covington Catholic 11 9 17 16 53
Newport Central Catholic (8-4) -- Bueter 18, Seibert 11, Ryan 10, Hightchew 8, McDonald 8, Schulte 4, Miller 4.
Covington Catholic (11-6) -- Massie 13, Ruthsatz 12, Tobler 11, Pauly 8, Fredrick 6, Heppler 3
Bueter was the "man" tonight, Seibert played one heck of a game tonight and Ryan had one "sweet" tip in at the buzzer to end the first quarter. CovCath guards are "lightning" quick, was very impressed with their speed. Would love to see how many turnovers for both teams??? CovCath pulled within 6 in the 3rd & 4th, but the Breds came right back to take a double digit advantage. Did have to scratch my head on some of the charging calls leveled against both teams, but otherwise good officiating.
JV and Freshman games CovCath flatout EMBARRASSED NewCath.
The student sections for both schools did an excellent job of cheering on their teams, good humor banter back and forth. The best moment came when one of the NewCath students, who is a "big man" did his worst somersault impression on the court. Then a CovCath "big man" comes out of the stands but rips off his shirt and does the same thing, the crowd loved it. The Newcath student concedes defeat and walks across the court to shake the CovCath students hand and the crowd gives standing ovation.Last edited by Lawnboy13; Jan 13, 12 at 10:08 PM.

You obviously took my post the wrong way if you think I meant anything by my post toward TOG.
He and I have known eachother for years and he knows I have just as much respect for his team as I do him. TOG is a good guy and someone I enjoy talking hoops with. I'm sure I'll see him and talk to him before tonight's CCH-Colerain game. Heck, I might even stop by and say hello to you as well.
As far as being a homer, that could be said about 90% of the folks on here who support/follow a certain team. No need for the immature comment CCIR.
