Very good game, close all the way through. NCC should have put this away in regulation. Their big guys played very well. Ollberding and the 2 Geisler boys came to play tonight. Should be a good game in the final.

Matt Geisler had I believe 25. Jake had about 13. Olberding was around 13 as well.

The lineup with all three of these guys in at the same time is working in my opinion. I like it a lot.

Swikert had a great game for St. Henry and ended up with 18 I believe.

Nice win for the Breds. I thought St Henry would have taken this one.

Great win NCC! This was a very exciting game to watch. St. Henry was down 7 with two minutes to go in regulation and fought back to bring it to a tie. However, NCC has too much for the Crusaders in OT.

Coach Faust just doesn't have the size to handle those 3 big guys for NCC although the Crusaders out fought them the size dominated. Olberding looked good. Any stats on rebounds? Connor's 2 treys late were huge.

Where was the NCC crowd last night? Not much of a showing. Particularly from the student body. St. Henry had a pretty good crowd.

This was one heck of a game. Both teams put everything they had on the floor. Congrats to NCC on the win. Good luck tonight.

St. Henry needs to hold there heads high and build on that game. Don't let it tear you down. This could be a pretty special team, that still no one is talking about.

I saw a picture in the Enquirer this week showing 3 buses of NCC students going to Washington DC for the Right to Life March. I think that the March was actually Wednesday so I assume they extended their trip because the NCC students are usually much better represented at games than they were last night.

Obviously a worthy reason to miss a high school basketball game!

That's correct, the buses didn't get back until midnight last night, also the girls had a game. They will all be there tonight. It should be another great game.

This was indeed the game of the tournament overall so far. The bracket these two teams played had to be the toughest to be in. I must say that admire how Coach Faust used his bench - I believe that kept them in the game.
