    Mayfield 68 Somerset 64 (All A Quarterfinal)

Final. Somerset ended the game on a 22-7 run to make it close.

Very, very sloppy. Got to content with the big lead. Horrible passes bringing the ball in against the press, but it’s a win.

Awesome to see the Murray fans pulling for Mayfield, that might be a first, EVER.

One of the worst shooting games Somerset has had. Had numerous open shots rim out or go in and out...for a couple of stretches they couldn't buy a basket.

    Congrats Cardinals.

Thought Somerset would win this one.....Mayfield must have played well. Then had just enough to hang on at the end.

Go big red! This is not the first time that Mayfield has had a double digit lead, and then let the other team back in it...I’m not sure what the cause is, but it would be a lot easier on our nervous system if they wouldn’t do that.
Great job by the Briar jumpers.

Mayfield has a good team. At times it looked like they would run away with it. They had a couple runs where it felt like they scored 8 straight in under a minute. Then they hit some terrible slumps. They probably had 6-8 turnovers in the last couple minutes and really couldn't get it settled down.

Somerset played hard all the way to the end. They just settled for too many threes in the last couple minutes when Mayfield kept giving them chances. Those were probably shots they hit a lot of times, but they didn't have the legs left to hit them after 2 grueling games.
