Congrats to Mr. Rose. Kid is more athletic than people give him credit for and will do well if he keeps working.

Between he and Trimble, I think Coach Valentine did a really good job preparing them for the next level. LCA is definitely raising their game.

Really enjoyed watching him play back in December. Best of luck to the young man.

I saw Rose in some games on the video and was impressed. Good outside shooter. What NCAA division is Samford? Isn't Martin Newton the AD there?

Samford is a Division I school that competes in the Southern Conference along with Chattanooga, East Tennessee State, Furman, Mercer, The Citadel, UNC-Greensboro, VMI, Western Carolina and Wofford. Yes, Martin Newton is the AD.

I saw that on Twitter earlier. I didn't realize Griffin had D1 potential but congrats to him for sure

Unless I was misinformed, Jarod is walking on at Samford.

According to Verbal Commits, they have offered 11 more KY kids in the 2016 and 2017 classes. I know of at least 5 unlisted KY kids that were told they have offers from Samford.

One of their assistants told me they want to be the "mid major of Kentucky". They're obviously trying to make that the case.
