What's he supposed to play defense with? His toes?

But as for my prediction, if the Royals play the game they are capable of playing they can win this one, Mason by 2

Does Mason have a second ace defender?

They might shut down the power attack of Goodin, but I doubt they have seen the likes of Sloan's speed. There might be quicker in Kentucky but not many. Makes for a potent and awfully hard backcourt to stop.

Excellent point! If you focus on Goodin, Sloan will have a field day! Taylor's backcourt is a true double-headed monster to try to stop.

Assuming Mason's Williams can stop Goodin, how do they counter Sloan? Stopping Goodin ain't enough.

And while the idea of stopping Goodin and Sloan is difficult, Gaines is capable of 30 points if you sleep on him.

Very true. Assuming that his health gets better by next week, he is dangerous at full strength.

Wasn't aware he was hurt. My folks from C'ville are holding out on me.

Not hurt, but he has been sick for about a month. That is why he didn't play in the second half of the North Hardin game, he got really sick during halftime, it wasn't pretty. Talked to his dad last night at the Bardstown game and he had been to the dr. and hopefully is on the road back to 100%.

I've noticed that as well. Will definitely do my part. Tried to during football, but the Dudley haters made it near impossible lol

Yeah, I like Dudley from a personal standpoint. But he's Dudley, and a guy with the track record of Dudley attracts a lot of attention. As a Taylor Co. supporter, surely you recognize that.

Isiah Garrison would probably draw the Sloan assignment if Pig checks Goodin. Garrison is a solid young player (sophomore) who has had a nice season, but containing Sloan will be a tough task.

Sloan very badly wanted to take over the game against Bardstown but wasn't getting the calls on his drives. I would expect him to assert himself a few times v. Mason Co.
