Mason County said they had about 30-35 applicants for the job.

Also, aren't these hiring processes supposed to be very confidential? How on earth did so many know that Kirk was the likely hire weeks ago? Someone on the inside has been lyin' and leakin'

Who will be on Brian Kirk's staff? Andrew King coming with him from Augusta?

It was pretty much the best option for Mason County. They had an open PE position, which Kirk teaches, so that narrowed it down. However, Iím not sure on his teaching position at Mason, yet.

Congrats to Coach Kirk. Panthers' loss, but Royals' win. Good man and solid coach that made inferior talent competitive. Hope he can solve the discipline challenges that unfortunately seem to recently/annually rear its' ugly head at the tradition rich MCo program.

Looks like two former Royals will be joining the staff.
    Jordan Gilbert and Robert Myrick

Will any of Coach Biggs staff be coming back?, am assuming no. Don't know Coach Myrick, but really like the addition of Coach Gilbert to the staff. Good hires by the AD.
