Not a pretty game by any stretch of the imagination. Royals went ice-cold from the field after the first quarter; by my unofficial count had a grand total of three baskets from the start of the second quarter through at least halfway through the third. Ended the third by my (again, unofficial) count on something like a 15-2 run. Harrison got to within 47-42 with 2 or 3 minutes remaining, but Mason's defense clamped down.

Royals led by Pig Williams with 25 and a bunch of boards. Sweeney with 11, Garrison with 9. Darren Williams was a difference-maker again with 10 points, 10 boards and 7 big blocks. Harrison was led by Pulliam with 14 (had success driving to the basket against Mason's big men for a nice little stretch), Jenkins with 11.

6 wins in a row for the Bigg's led Royals. Rounding into tournament form. 2nd best record in Region. Going to be interesting to see Code's guard hounding, denial defense and where Bigg's big men are going to play. Could be a game in the 50's.

Or lower. Probably will be a grinder.
