Darn it. It is a shame these two teams had to play in round 1. If the tournament were seeded this would not be a round 1 matchup. But you have to beat the good teams at some point to win the tournament. Tigers need to take the experience of this tough battle and learn from it. Hopefully this game will help them get the wins they need to get to the regional. Beechwood now has a week to get ready for a big district game versus Holmes.

Congrats to Lloyd on the win and good luck the rest of the way.

    Wow...sounds like I missed a good one.

Told myself all day that I was going just to blow it off at the last minute.

What does the rest of the bracket look like from here on out?

Double darn it. I just looked at the bracket. The winner of this Beechwood Lloyd game is probably in the regional title game. It would have been fun having the Tigers play in the regional final.

    Before I forget...

This was a great win for Lloyd, whose only vocal fans were located on their bench. It was really impressive to watch the energy they provided to the five on the court, and then rally around each other when Beechwood took a late lead.

    Kudos to the Juggernauts.
