These undefeated win streaks just continue to get more difficult to maintain the longer they go on. Saturday should provide excitement for both Ashland and Elizabethtown.

Boyd County has the flu, so that game wasn't played. Rescheduled for this Wednesday. Ashland has their focus on East Carter this Tuesday, then they can go for round two with the Lions. Assuming the Lions are healthy by then.

If they can win at East Carter Tuesday they will tie for 2nd best start in school history with the '61 state champ team. Nice streak but not the focus.
