Knott Co. have nice players, some just seemed to lack confidence and experience. Very well coached, I was impressed with coach King and the adjustments he made on both ends of the floor. They will be a contender if the get the kid that broke his foot back. Good luck the rest of the season.

Very physical game. JC saw the return of Senior Josh Hitchcock (minor knee surgery in November) and he went 2/2 from deep and 1/2 from the FT line in 6 minutes of action. He will be a big help down the stretch as he gets in better condition. JC Senior PF Jerry McCarty suffered a gruesome cut to his eye from an elbow that resulted in a long stoppage as a couple towels had to be used to soak up all the blood on the floor. Good news is he will be fine after stitches.

JC was led by Cole Crace tonight with 18 pts, 6 rbs, 3 ast, 3 stls. Mason Blair had 17 pts against a box and 1 chaser and on some occasions a triangle and 2 defense. As a result JC got open shots all night, but shot the 3 poorly. JC Junior SF Luke Vance suffered a hip contusion as well. Sophomore Steven Gound gave great energy off the bench for JC hitting 2 big 3FG's as Sophomore Dalton Collins was out with a wrist injury suffered against Henry County (expected back in 1 week).

Knott Central was led by Caudill with 21 pts. (very nice young player) Knott played very hard and got good looks as well, just couldnt knock them down consistently. This team is very young and could surprise some people if they get healthy. Scappy game by both teams and again, very very physical. You can watch the full highlights on wymt.com if you like, but I warn you a strong stomach is a must for the McCarty injury (late first half - assuming they didnt edit it out by now). Luckily the young man is doing just fine as it looked much much worse than it was. Kid is warrior down low!
