I hated to miss this game, but came back home to watch UK. Getting really to head back to the gym for the rest of the games today. Congrats to the Birds on the win.

I believe South won a scrimmage early this year against Highlands in Somerset. But, they have had a of bit bad luck, Sanders out before Christmas to an injury, Slavey to a health issue, and as of last night another starter out. Hope all three starters can get back soon. But a good win for the Birds!!

Way to go birds! 2 in a row. I don't think we are ready to start a
Thread on 'what's right with Highlands basketball' but are they doing anything different? Are the footballers finally getting into hoops shape or is Flynn making the right personnel changes? Any scoring stats on today's victory?

    Unofficial stats.

    Towles-11
    Lewis -8
    Witte-7
    Turner-24

Unsure about the rest but nice to see Turner putting the ball in the basket like he's capable.

I couldn't make the game today I was coaching my 5 year old daughter n the ymca league. This was from my son who also said They were big and physical. He's an undersized 4 right now and he said They had a couple 6'5 kids.

If Sanders was out for SL then They were definitely shorthanded at the PG spot.

Still a nice road win for the Birds.

Sanders is still out along with Slavey and now Austin Schaser went down with a back injury in last nights game against Bell Co.
Been a tough season dealing with so many injuries, just hope South can get healthy a couple of weeks before district starts.
Was impressed with #20 for Highlands today.

Birds led by as many as 18 during the 21 Pt 3rd qtr. Margin was cut when the subs came in late. Looks like a close first half though. Towles had a nice breakaway dunk.

Good to see the Birds winning a few games here. Maybe the Birds have turned that corner and are on a roll.
