Harrison County 71 Lewis County 64

Sorry, no stats. Big bench T on Lewis with 1:02 left and team had just comeback from 10 down. HC layup blocked and Lewis gets rebound. Momentum all Lewis County when ref turns back toward bench to T up the coach. HC hits 2 and gets ball to regain composure. Huge T!

Another call for discussion was HC had a player get a nose bloodied. During floor clean-up, he removed shirt at end of bench and trainer took it into locker room to clean. He stood shirtless on bench for multiple minutes. Experts around me said that was a T(?). Lewis coach pointed out to refs who discussed and made no call. Anybody know if this should have been a T.

No T. Had he taken it off in a demonstrative action, it would warrant one. The kid already had a bloody nose and people wanted him to be penalized on top of that?! That’s crazy!

Common sense and decency make me agree with you. I just don't know for sure what the rule says. One of "experts around me was a retired ref" and he said the emphasis was clear to all refs, it was to be called. Lot's of experts in the stands.

Mr. Cat is a current ref and I discussed this with him. Also just asked another current ref and he confirmed. Two refs; two different regions. Same answer.
