They were 12-1 heading into this game since the LIT and the only loss was to Butler on the road by 5 points in a game they lead much of the way. Butler is leading the pack and the favorite for the 6th title based on the regular season, but both Fairdale and Fern Creek are threats.
It took a really good game from Wales who scored 28 and solid game from both Price and Wickliffe to beat Fairdale which is the key for a long run by the Tigers. Those three all need to be playing their best, but if they are they do become dangerous like you mentioned. It took a solid game to beat Fairdale last night, so in that aspect it was a upturn for Fern Creek to end the season on that note.
